Pro Razor Scooter – How Short Legs Have Come A Long Way
The original Razor scooter was invented as a foldable scooter by the J.D. Corporation in Taiwan. Gino Tsai, a mechanical engineer and president of J.D Corp. took 5 years to develop the design, based on the design of the very earliest 2 wheeled scooters. Gino invented it because he couldn’t get around his large bike factory very fast on his short legs.
The toy company ‘Small Minds’ owned by Californian Carlton Calvin joined forces with Gino and Razor USA as we know it today was born. Developing and distributing kick scooters around the world and proud to have their own team of Pro Razor Scooter riders.
This kick scooter has been designed, tested and used by Team Razor pro riders – the Pro Razor Scooter is a big favorite with professional riders offering outstanding performance, durability and the ability to perform awesome stunts and jumps.
It is 3″ taller than the older Razor A series kick scooters and has adjustable handlebar height. It has full deck grip tape for extra control, designed by pro Razor scooter team rider Rickey Wernicke. The head clamp is double stacked for added head tube strength, vital when landing those big jumps. Also, there are now extra thick foam grips for additional palm protection.
If you like technical details, the Pro Razor Scooter has a body built with 100% aircraft grade aluminum, making it not only incredibly strong, it has been tested with an 1100 lb load without bending, but also very light. With ABEC 5 high speed bearings, the 90 mm urethane wheels are available in a series of interchanging colors.
If you need to slow (why would you?) or stop your Pro Razor Scooter, the patented, step-on, rear fender brake keeps you in control. Then when you’ve finished for the day, it has a patented folding mechanism making it easy to pack up and carry away with you.
Though designed for the Pro Razor Scooter team, the Razor Kick scooter accommodates a range of sizes up to 220 pounds and is safe for kids six years old and up, it really is the scooter for kids of all ages
